I did the Jeff Rubin Jeff Rubin show!

jeffrubinjeffrubin:

Episode 50 of The Jeff Rubin Jeff Rubin Show is called The Great American DVD Swap and features Pat CasselsSarah SchneiderJosh Ruben, and Dan Meth. Everyone came over to my apartment, brought their unwanted DVDs, and tried to trade them. I think it’s a lot of fun.

Episode 50 also marks the one year anniversary of the show, and a change in the schedule. There will no longer be new Jeff Rubin Jeff Rubin Shows on the first Tuesday of any month. I think I work best when I have a regular schedule that demands episodes no matter what, but I also plan on doing this for a while and need a pace that’s a little more sustainable. I discuss this decision in more detail at the end of this week’s episode, because the best part of any podcast is when the host explains behind-the-scenes scheduling decisions.

In case you don’t make it to the end of the episode - spoiler alert - I am incredibly thankful to my listeners. This podcast has become a big part of my life and I think that would be a lot sadder without you. I already have a lot of fun episodes planned for the next 50 (#51, for instance, is an interview with one of the producers of You Don’t Know Jack) and I hope you guys will listen to those too because I absolutely love doing this and am making them with or without you.

You can listen to the enhanced version of The Jeff Rubin Jeff Rubin Show (with pictures, and I went completely fucking overboard this week) on YouTube or iTunes. The vanilla MP3 version is at JeffRubinJeffRubinShow.com.
