My first CH article! One of what I hope will become several interviews with directors and celebs. In it, we talk zombies and give some love to Tumblr. Give us a digg!
Check Ruben’s tumblog here.
GOTCHA.
another great costume idea
Okay. I want to be a legit Ghostbuster for Halloween. I am NOT fucking around.
Any suggestions?
(*edit: any ideas on how to look more authentic than a halloweenstorebuster?)
Ruben Fleischer, director of Zombieland, on auditioning actors. For a first time director, he really knows what he’s doing.

BELIEVE IT.
Adam & Eve In The Friend Zone, written by myself and in no way based on real personal life experiences. Produced by Eva, directed by Josh, and starring my newfound comedy crush Zach Woods. Like it? Digg it!
In no way did I have a similar experience with one of the people in this cast.

See me perform @ UCB tonight!
Pat, Elaine and I are doing The Philip Seymour Hoffman Show at UCB’s A-Side/B-Side @ 11pm. If that’s not enough incentive to come, we’re in the same bill as Rue Bratalia and BriTANick! It’s also $5.
I would die to write/direct a movie like this.
(pardon the pun)
It’s 11.44 p.m. and I’m sitting in my room researching cameras - looking at HVX200 plus adapter or possibly the new Mark 7D. There’s a lot of info out there, but this video came up on the DVX user site. I started watching and right there, in the very first scene, is my friend Josh Ruben breaking the heart of new SNL F-bomber Jenny Slate in the short film Obvious Child.
Happenstance!
haha - not a lie.
