New CH Original - WiFi Prostitues (aka Picking Up A Signal)
Here’s a video I wrote based on an article from a while back. Hope you like it.
So…did you like it? Maybe digg it?
Look at this weird, sexy sketch I directed! Produced by Eva, shot by Vince, starring the very talented Dane and Anna (a real life couple, I might add).

I’m doing stand-up at UCB this Wednesday for the first time in 6 years. If you can’t make it, here’s what you’ll miss: nervous pacing, weird sounds and a Philip Seymour Hoffman impression.

District 9's Effects On the Film Industry
atencio:
What can be said about District 9 that hasn’t already been repeated ad nauseum? It’s clearly a revolutionary piece of filmmaking, and I believe the effects of the film will be felt in the film industry for some time. But I wanted to take a moment to examine those effects, and explain where I think District 9, and the success it will enjoy, will take us.

Tweetlejuice! The undead’s answer to boring tweets. Written by me and Amir, directed by Sam. Brought to life by many, but particularly Mary Burke’s art direction and Josh Ruben’s Michael Keaton-inhabiting performance. So fun to recreate the style of a movie we love. If you like it, perhaps digg it and/or re-tweet it.
One of the best shooting days of my life. Produced by Ben, shot by...

With the help of good pal and fantastic editor Matt Pollock, I’ve put together a DP reel. I’ve never had a reel before, and with all the fun work lately, I figured why not compile some of my favorite moments and lighting setups into one montage. The goal with the first half was to create something that didn’t necessarily say “comedy,” showing the work in a more ambiguously dramatic...
N00b Boyfriend
written by Brian Murphy, produced by Ben, shot by Vince, directed by me.
I loved working on a simpler, dialogue-driven sketch. Hope you enjoy this one.
Digg away!
Graduates a year later →
mattedits:
We were in the middle of shooting Graduates exactly one year ago today… At this very moment we were in the Cafeteria of Curry College shooting. I remember being very nervous that they would be doing construction that day, which would completely screw everything up. Luckily for us it was a Sunday and they were not. If you haven’t watch Graduates yet you’re crazy and not a good friend....

so I always say “this was an awesome interview!” but seriously you should check this interview out if you are at all interested in writing or film in general. Having the opportunity to sit down with John August and ask him anything I wanted for an hour was insane. He was consistently on point with all my questions and he continually blew my mind.
As a (wannabe) budding...
